I have 2 dwarf frogs and I dont know what to do if they have babies. They always lay on top of each other. How can I help? Do you think they will have babies?

    Do you want them to have babies?  If so read up on caring for the baby froggies and they expectant parents.  It might be that they are just sticking close together, but if one is hugging the other like in that picture then expect to see some babies in the near future.


  2. Can they get their heads out of the water?Yes if you have a male and female it is possible for them to lay eggs.Float something on top the water so they can get out on it a piece of Styrofoam works.

  3. You need to do a LOT more research first. Mortality is VERY high in dwarf frogs  tadpoles. You also need to see if they are male or females! Read this- http://aquaticfrogs.tripod.com/id15.html

    These frogs are not easy to breed like guppies, they are very hard and you are lucky if 1 tadepole survives. Also, you need a 100 gallon grow out tank, once they hit 2 weeks, the tadpoles need 1/2 gallon each, or else they release growth stunting hormones and they all quite growing.
