  1. * RMS Power (4 ohms) 1250 watts x 1 chan.

    * RMS Power (2 ohms) 2500 watts x 1 chan.

    If the sub is 1000 watts rms power it is to much for the sub.try getting a set of them,it will be better with this amp then.

  2. depends on if the subs are 2 or 4ohm if the if the subs are 2ohm then your fine if there 4ohm you should get another amp or just drop it down to 1ohm and hope for the best my amp can take .5ohm all day long

  3. Well my advice would be, “Think about your alternator”. The ZX2500.1 is a beautiful and powerful amp and the 15L7’s can take it. For two of the 2 ohm 15L7’s Kicker recommends the ZX1500.1 or the ZX2500.1. I have the ZX1500.1 on my 2 ohm 15L7’s and it bangs like h**l and I had to install a second alternator for my cars electrical system to keep up. That ZX2500.1 needs 300 amps from the alt to give you 2500 watts rms at the speakers so if you are not going to give it that much power then don’t get that amp. You will need an alternator just to power that amp and you still need an alternator to power the car and the four channel amp(s) so you can hear the rest of the song.

    and if your subs are 4 ohm then you need a 1 ohm stable amp

  4. Well if you have it at 2 ohms which im sure you do you will probably have it running at 2 ohms. You will get 1250 watts RMS into each subwoofer. I dont know i mean 250 watss over the RMS might be to much. I have 150 watts RMS over my rated RMS which is 600 for my kickers and they are fine. You can try it but i would get 2 kicker ZX1.1000 maybe if you want 2 amps.
