shes not around. There are times when 1 comes in & 1 goes out they attack each other like they want to kill each other.

Are they neutered?  If not.. this is your first problem.

Sometimes it is just play, If you haven't had them neutered then that is a rather large part to it. If you do have them neutered they should calm down. But it is natural for dogs to fight, some play fighting and some to become "Top Dog" it kind of sets their territory. Its also natural for Male dogs to fight over the females. I wouldn't worry too much about it. But if it gets way too out of hand then get them both neutered.
