  1. If you put a cap on there all it is going to do is make you lights dim a little bit more because all a cap is, just another piece of electronics to charge up. A snowball would have a better chance in h**l than by adding a cap to make your subs hit harder. Sorry not going to happen by doing that.

  2. no the cap will help thats the point of a cap to stop the diming it holds the charge so the battery has enough power to send out to the other electroics get a 2frag cap an there will be no diming

  3. all a cap will do is drain more energy from the other electric equipment. try a "big 3" upgrade. use either 2 gauge wire or bigger.

do the positve battery cable to the alternator positive,

the negative battery cable to the chassis,

and the chassis to engine ground.

here's a guide how to do it: http://www.the12volt.com/installbay/foru...

if that doesn't stop the lights dimming then u should consider a high output alternator.

  4. don't WASTE your cash on a cap

if you are having charging issues (dimming lights) then you need to look into a high output alternator, thicker wires, and/or a high current car audio power cell (they are like deep cell batteries made just for car audio and are ten times better than a cap-Kenitik makes the best ones in my opinion

a good test of your charging system is to see if your lights dim noticeably when you have a couple accessories running and the sounds about halfway up, like your rear defrost and AC on at the same time as the sounds
