I have 2 memphis pr 15s in a ported box in my trunk but when i pop the trunk it hits harder what shoud i do

the box is faceing in could that be it and should i get a cap and the dynamat kit or what

it will always be louder with the trunk open

you should face the subs towards the rear of the car

the box should be as close as possible to the back of the rear seats

don't WASTE your cash on a cap

Dynamat will make the bass sound a little cleaner because it will stop some of the rattle and "seal" the trunk better, but it wont necessarily make it any louder

if all of your settings are correct at the amp and on the radio (and you have the correct size wire) then there is no way to make it louder-- your only option is too add wattage, surface area (more subs), or subs with a higher sensitivity (A speaker with a sensitivity rating that's 3 dB higher than another speaker's only needs half as much power to deliver the same amount of sound.)
