I have 2 memphis pr 15s in my trunk but when i pop the trunk it hits harder what should i do

the box is faceing in could that be it if i turn them around will i lose the bass in the car or what

make the box point so that the port(s) are facing the rear of the car so that the sound waves have the most time to expand before they hit you in the front of the car

With that size subs the box probably takes up the whole trunk,there for they can't move much air.

When you pop the trunk open you free them up to move more air and they hit harder.
