Question:

I have 2 sat. receivers, but only 1 input source in the TV. How can I merge channels recd by both receivers ?

2 Sat. receivers, one has loop through facility, the other not. How can I make use of this loop through connection and get channels from both of these receivers simultaneously without changing TV input cable ?

  1. use a spliter, like You would for for one receiver to 2 t.v.s only turn it around. You may have to turn off the power to the receiver NOT in use.

They make input selection boxes and sell them almost anywhere (Radio Shack, Ebay, Etc) that will give you anywhere from 2 inputs to 1 all the way to 8 input to 1.  You connect any and all your inputs to the input side and then select which signal you want to pass through to the TV... either via a button or remote control... they are around $10. If your TV has only one input what you will do is to purchase an RF Modulator an connect both receivers to the device, the RF Modulator will have a coaxial out that will connect to the TV so when turning on a receiver it will automatically display on your TV, that way you don't need to change input.
