I have 2 small white bumps 1 is next to my eye and the other is on my temple dont know what they are?

i thought they were pimples but they have been there for months if i try to pop them they get real sore they wont go away

i get one of those under my left eye. my mom says its a cholesteral deposit. they will go away evenutally
