I have 2 snowblowers 1. Craftsman with 11HP and a Toro with 5.5 HP. How much oil do I use when changing?

  1. save what you drain out, and then measure each one after-wards to get an idea of about how much you need for each one.    put that much back in each one then check the dip stick for each one to see if you have enough or not.

    run each unit to get the oil hot before draining.  you get much more of the sediment out when you do it that way, which is why your changing the oil.


  2. The 5.5 maybe a quart or a little under. The 11hp a quart or maybe a little over. Just drain them good and fill to the full mark. It will not be a lot like your 5 quart car.
