I have 2 violations from my car, do i have to report them to my insurance for my motorcycle?

I have 2 points against me from the car i own now, and i was looking at insurance policies for a motorcycle, and i wanted to know if i have to report those 2 violations for my motorcycle insurance or if the motorcycle insurance just includes violations within the motorcycle?

The violations are against your licence.  It doesn't matter whether you ride a cycle, drive a car, or a semi, they are the same violations, same points.  You can't hide them, so if you don't report them on the application, you can have the insurance voided without notice because of a failure to disclose relevant information to be used in the underwriting decision, or be billed for a retroactive rate increase, depending on the policy selected, and the seriousness of the infraction.

  3. The insurance company will simply ask you for violations within a number of years. This includes all violations that will appear when they access your driving record.
