I have 2006 first class postage stamps with the liberty statue and American Flag. Are they 39 cents?

There is no price on the stamps and I'm uncertain if they are 39 cent stamps. How can I tell?

Those are the same as "Forever" stamps, they're both good for the current 1st class postage rate (42cents now) even though you bought them at a cheaper rate years ago. Nowadays the stamp says 1st Class Forever probably to make their value/this issue more clear.
