I have heard of children divorcing parents but want to stop her having any future say in my future be it in any respect. I will be making a will to disinherit as this will stop her gaining financially. I have thought long and hard about such harsh actions but I feel while I can do this with great forethought and fully my definate decision. I have never had a strong relationship with her but over few years this has gotten worse. I am not married and have 9 children so with her being the oldest an my other children having varying degrees of learning disabilities she will try to legally over ride their's and my personal opionions in the future.

Would love any advise as unsure of my possibilities of my actions which I can take now.

  1. If you choose to close a door keep the key handy in case you need to unlock it again.

More than likely you have already relinquished your rights to her as a parent since you feel the way you do.

  2. dont disown your daughter...just write it up in your will how you want any money dispersed and to who...

you can do this without cutting your daughter out of your life (that is so heartless), im sorry but a parent is supposed to love their children unconditionally..

im a mother and i could never do what youre speaking of ... no matter what the relationship is...

just remember you have 9 children not 8...

  3. just have a will drawn up refusing her anything...

plus make a legal document (affidavit) stating she has no rights...

  4. get a good lawyer

leave everything to anyone but her

i figure disowning her- to her- will mean nothing
