...and it gives me Wi-Fi through my house, but the problem is the Wi-Fi is security-enabled, and I need a password to access it. But I don't know what the password is, and I don't know where to find what the password is. If anyone can help me find it, that would be much appreciated!

  1. you have to call up your ISP for the password, so you can access the signal..if the computer sees the signal, then u are connected.

u just need a password because its security enabled access point.

  2. well u can call ur computer company and tell them

  3. Was the router supplied by your ISP? Call them for support if it is their modem/router

  4. Call your internet service provider which I believe is at&t they will give it to you or either change it and give you a new password. I forgot my password I called and they provided me a new password.

  5. If you are looking for the WEP/WPA code that is default, look on the router (typically the bottom) for a sticker with a barcode. There should be a number in brackets that looks like this: [1234567890]. This is your default password (just use whatever numbers it says).

You can change this by going to: http://home or 192.168.1.254 in Firefox or IE or Safari, etc., Clicking Home Network at the top, Wireless Settings, then look under Wireless Network Security.
