  1. I had a male cat that would do this as well. He was neutered and we never broke him of the habit. If he's not hurting the other cats, which I don't think is his goal, then it's probably best to just let them figure it out.

  2. How Much Older? It [He or She] May Fell Superior.

  3. its a dominance behavior which will only stop if hes neutered, the others play dead because they are submitting to his dominance.

  4. I sounds like it's probably a dominance behavior.  My neutered male behaved like this toward my spayed females.  They usually tried to avoid him.  It can still be a dominance issue even if all three are male, neutered or not.

  5. The most common reason for this act being done is simply an act of dominance. Yes, if the cat gets neutered their would definitely be a high possibility of him stopping. However its not a guarantee. This is a normal act, and if harmless(as it sounds), its best to just let them deal themselves. If it is dominance, the others may soon understand their place around him and their shouldnt be a problem. If it becomes more aggressive, i would suggest separating the others from him more often. Little things can be done, but theirs no real solution to the dominance behavior until the feeling of him needing to dominate is changed. Cats do have feelings, as many people dont believe, and their behavior reflects from that.

  6. When i get old i might very well do the same thing to younger people sounds entertaining.

  7. One reason might be that he wants to show them that he is in charge because he is the oldest. or he might just wanna fit in with them by playing with them.

  8. Get a spray bottle and fill it with water. Spray it at him/her when she is biting the other cats.

My boy cat does that to my girl cat, but he is very aggressive.
