  1. Wow you love your animals alot!!!!! I would suggest bringing you cat(s) to the place where you are getting you puppy and see if you could bring you cat(s) in and see which dog would get along with it!!!!!

  2. This is a very common thing for pet owners to worry about. I work in an animal shelter during my breaks from school and people ask about this all of the time and I personally have had to go threw it twice. What seems to work best is to keep the puppy in a different room than the cats for a couple days you can keep them in your bedroom or even a room where you can put up a gate as a boundary this way the cats can go up to the gate if they want but your puppy does not feel lonely. I have a seven year old cat that is one of the biggest scaredy cats in the world but we have brought 3 puppys into my house since I got her and she socializes with them when she feels like it but keeps to herself other than that. My older cat on the other hand made good friends with the dogs but on his own time. The only other thing I can tell you is that puppys are a lot of work ( which you probably already know) but even though you will need to be spending tons of time training and bonding with your new friend, you should take a good amount of time to give your cats the love and attention they are used to. Good luck!!!
