  1. If you can't afford $150, then you can't afford another pet. Realize that you're lucky that you have three healthy dogs--I've known people that have spent several hundreds of dollars on their pet's vet bills because of problems with their pets. (My grandma spent almost a thousand  dollars on her Shih Tzu when it was found out that she needed sugery--it was no fault on my grandma's part and she couldn't bear to put her down.) You need to save your money so that if anything ever does happen to your pets, that you'll be able to care for them properly.

  2. I have three dogs; a chocolate lab, german shepard and a pomeranian/yorkie mix, and they all LOVE my bunny. They just sit and stare at it in its cage.

If you don't want I bunny, I would get the next biggest thing, a guinnea pig.

  3. get a bird

  4. I've kept hamsters with my cats and dogs.  They make great pets and are easy to maintain.  I would choose a male since they are more docile, especially if this is the first one you've owned.  Also, the teddy bear variety are a calm, docile breed.  Some breeds can be feisty.  You can ask more about specific breeds at the pet store.

  5. You - being the master of the three dogs!
