  1. What information is this??

3 packs (over here we might say Boxes??)

does that mean your going to mix 6 cups of water

    No no no

Are you going to feed 10 - - 12 people

    Sorry I am NO help

  2. I would add less than a quarter cup of water.  Steaming the chicken like this with the rice makes it turn out especially moist, but chicken doesn't tend to soak up a lot of water.

  3. Mix the rice mixture according to the package directions, using the suggested amount of water, in your casserole dish.  Mix in the sour cream and then either mix in the chicken chopped up or place the whole pieces on top of the rice mixture.  Bake at 375 degrees F for about 45 minutes to an hour unless the package gives other baking details, then follow those.  Let the casserole sit for five minutes once it is finished cooking to let the sauce set up before serving.

  4. 2 x 3 = 6 bake covered for about 45 min uncover last 15

save the sour cream for topping with chive and garlic  in the last 5 min maybe some shred cheddar

  5. The moisture the chicken will add isn't that much, plus the oven will dissapate some of the liquid. The sour cream won't make much difference either. I would only decrease the water by maybe a cup.

  6. I'd put the 2 cups of water, the rice mix, and combine well in a greased casserole dish.  Then lay your chicken b*****s on top, season, cover all w/ foil, and bake.  Once the rice is done, take off foil so chicken can brown a bit.  Bu tI don't think you'll need  more than 2 cups of water per package; the hcicken will release some moisture as it cooks, too.
