I have 3 rather large trees in my backyard here in Lexington Ky. I was wondering how much it cost?

I just bought a house and it looks like 3 trees need to be removed. Two looks like they would be fine. Also, wondering if there would be any ordinances or permits i would need to obtain?

Size of the tree is one factor.  So is how difficult will it be to remove them.

I used B & R Tree Care.  They are great. I just had a large size tree removed, it was diseased, shedding bark, and had questionable stability.  It was near the house and they had to use special mats to drive on our lawn (to protect sprinkler system).  They cut it down, hauled it away, and ground the stump down for $800.

i know nothing about kentucky but i do know that trees are a huge asset to any home.  please consider the cooling value of your home.  shade helps.  people have been asking how to get a large tree for its shade value in cooling costs for years, not to mention the beauty, and the attraction to birds.  it may be a cheaper and wise decision to just get them majorly trimmed.  won't hurt to ask.
