  1. It depends. If a file that you need or use got infected, then it went into quarantine. If you delete this, then some programs may not work.

But if it's a new file you downloaded for example, and it's infected, then sure, go ahead and delete it.

  2. you need anti-virus software to remove it without infecting your processor.

  3. If you are unsure, you should only delete the file being infected, not the folder. The folder itself is harmless.

  4. Not if it's system32 or something.

  5. Unless you give us the file name and extension I can't help you. Also what type of anti virus do you use? You may also want the names of the virus'

  6. It would be safe to delete these Trojans if they were by themselves but most of the time Trojans are mixed in with important files so if you delete the files that have the Trojans you might delete important files as well.  It's best to let your Anti Virus program Handel this, your Anti Virus program will separate the Trojans from your files or it will try to disinfect it and if it can't do either, your Anti Virus program will  make a copy of the files that are infected then delete them  this is what a good Anti Virus program should do.

  7. If they are connected with important registry/system files, don't delete them. Google the trojan name and see if there is a particular program that specialises in tracking down and removing said trojan
