I have 3 £5 gold 1997 Royal golden wedding anniversary coins, size of a five pence, what are they worth?

They are not crowns and are about the size of a penny or five pence piece, could anyone tell me what they are worth??

these things are very difficult to value for a start they are only 10 1/2 years old and as they are actually still married i would say not much but i would suggest going to an auction house or even a museum they maybe able to tell you more

Contact a Numismatist who should be able to give you a value or look on eBay to see if there's anything similar and what it's going for.    ;0)

The value depends on what type they are and in what condition. There were three types of 1997 Royal golden Wedding Anniversary coins issued.

Gold Proof 22 Carat (.917) 39.94 grams  2,750  issued

Uncirculated Cupro-Nickel 28.28 grams 1,733,000 issued
