  1. 20 days per year for a permanent employee, less leave you have taken.

  2. Yes you will get your annual leave paid out, some employers may also pay out any sick leave. Prorata long service leave is paid by many companies but not all.

Check with your HR dept or your employment contract.

  3. You should be entitled to 4 weeks (20 days) annual leave every year.  If you have taken no holidays in the 4 years you should get 80 days.  But all this depends on the conditions of your employment and the attitude of your boss.  I think somewhere in the Annual Holidays Act there is a "use it or lose it" provision.  Many employers do not use it, but they are entitled to.

  4. Best way to find out is to ASK the human resources or personel department where you worl. If it is a small employer without  such a department, ask your boss.

  5. That is correct that's all you are entitled to after 4 years. Some companies may pay you for any flexitime owing but that is entirely up to them and their policies.

  6. Depends entirely upon your award or agreement.

Some agreements wrote out such basic things like pay out of leave.

But you can check it out online at http://www.workplaceauthority.gov.au if your under a federal award or agreement. And there are state based union & government websites as well.
