I have 4 kids...1 out of the 4 has a discipline problem at school...we did counseling but didnt help ?

this child is second to youngest......hes ok at home but at school is rude and disruptive.....hes on ADD meds which i still am not 100% convinced that hes ADD........anywhy,.....does anyone else with 3 or more children have this problem......my kids are all disciplined the same......and the other 3 are straight a students that never get into trouble at school......did i do something wrong.....please share thoughts or stories....this is upsetting as i feel that i am the one to blame

Your child may need different methods than what is working for your other 3.  

I would do more research, talk to more professionals.  Every child is different and if you think the meds aren't working, talk to your doctor.

ahh... sounds like somebody might need a good spanking. just my opinion don't mean to offend, but this is always underestimated. My wife taught special ed for 12 years, just about all the kids were on some form of med for behavior problems (ADD etc.) the ones that were taken off and put into a strict discipline program with a little corpral punishment were eventually able to be placed in the normal classrooms. about 75% of kids on these meds just need a good *** whipping and consistient structure.

Sometimes despite your best efforts children don't turn out as you would like, we are all individuals after all.  Don't know if this will make you feel worse or better but; I had an uncle who was always in trouble all his life, my other aunts and uncles were brought up the same and are models of society.

All I can say is make sure he gets the same attention as the others, talk to him quietly to see if there is a problem and maybe make time to go out and do something with him on his own occasionally. Best of luck.
