I have 5 raw speakers wires comming out of my wall for surround sound, how do I extend and connect them to tv?

It is a new house and I just have 5 short wires comming from the jack

Hook up extra speaker wire to them and there you go.

They don't get connected to the TV, you need an A/V receiver. Get a 2 Gang decora plate with 10  Speaker connecter and put that on the wall. Now you have a clean looking wall that you can use to connect to the speaker outputs on the receiver with short speaker cables. Connect all of your devices audio output to the receiver (follow your particular component manuals for best connection to use)
