  1. even though you say it's not the breakers, have you tried turning each and every breaker off and then back on?

maybe you have a bad breaker.

  2. The problem is obvious, the outlets are not getting power. This could be a broken wire, a tripped breaker or a GFCI outlet that needs to be reset.  If you can not find the problem without opening the power panel, call a qualified electrician to do the work.  In Washington State, L&I prohibits working on live electrical panels.   Love those desk jockeys.

  3. Do you have a GFCI.......that's a ground falult circuit interuptor usually found around sinks or in a garage or on an outside plug...........take a look .......they have a little push button on them......they say test.  The other thing is look very careful at your breaker panel, alot of times the breaker has been tripped but doesn't show it....turn them off and then all the way on......try it.......you may find the problem there.  Hope it helps......bye

  4. Probable a broken wire.

A short will trip a breaker a break wont. This is dangerous and should not be ignored!!!

  5. you may have a broken source wire, all of the recepticles should be on the same breaker, turn it off, call an electrician

  6. Sounds like these are all on the same curciut. Check and see if any, top or bottom work. To speed up instalation, most of the recepticles have holes in the back of they, that are sometimes used to "hook it up".  This is called backstabing, using the holes instead if the screws .What happens,  they get loose and don't make good conection any more. If you were using something that draws a lot of current, an iron or some type of heating device, if will cause it to arc and loose connection. Turn off the power and check each one. It only takes one to be bad as the are hooked in series.
