I have $51 and i want to get a fish tank , what's the biggest tank i can get?

you really cant get much. 10 gallons is about the top, and only in a regular rectangle tank. i have seen 5 gallon hex tank kits for $50 at petsmart.

no a 20 gallon is $55 so if you saved a couple more bucks but a ten gallon is $25 and then you could get gravel and plants

Try yard sales and post an ad on craigslist I see a lot of cheap tanks on there and most come with stand/filter and hood! You will need fish so I would save up a little longer ot try craigslist

The tank is actually cheap. It is the other stuff that is expensive! I always get fluorescent lighting rather than incandescent so it is alot more. Then you have the aerator, get the smallest $6-$10 they are cheap and do the same as a more expensive one. A bubble wand or stone will be about $2-$6.

Then you have the gravel or substrate....

Yeah just go with a kit. I suggest the biggest kit they have for the money you have available. Unless you can slowly add the items above throughout the time it takes to acclimatize the tank, I would just get a 10g. tank.

I would get a 5 gallon Hex tank, they come with every thing but the decor, gravel, and fish. My brother got a 5 gallon Hex tank, gravel, and decor for only $40!! He got some dwarf frogs and a very pretty betta for another $10! And the kit even comes with Aqausafe and tropical fish food.

I would only get a 5 or ten gallon. Remeber you have to buy decorations, food, and gravel.

Look on www.craigslist.com and look in the community section in the pets! I found a 50 gallon with a stand for 50!
