I have 55 dollars and I want to buy either gears of war or halo 3, which one has better multiplayer/longevity?

I would have to say halo 3. the different modes available keep it fresh as well as the new map packs. Also i go to game crazy in my town every day to see if there is a used copy of Halo 3 and they said the only time one has ever been returned was because of damaged disk. The game has a great longevity rating.

i love halo3 but im saying if your thinking about buying gears of war wait until november when the second one comes out.

Get Call of Duty 4, Because it has better graphics and its more realistic.If your can't get Gears of War because its same thing as Call of Duty 4, Don't really get halo because its fake and playing online the connection sucks playing online...

For multiplayer halo 3 has more people and in my opinion more fun but for longevity gears of wars is longer but if you dont  mind i recommend call of duty 4 its multiplayer has more plaers than halo 3 and its longevity is longer than both of halo3 and gears of war

I have both games,

HALO 3 is much better for multiplayer when vsing each other then Gears of War. Gears of War has c**p multiplayer vs mode but the multiplayer story is ok. Halo 3 i found much more fun, but Gears of War was very gory and... dark... jeez aa little bit scary aswell :(

HALO 3 is better in my opinion, more fun, better controls, way better weapons and vehicles, its storyline is longer than Gears of War plus... its HALO how can you now like HALO?

If you had enough for both, get both, but get HALO 3 if you can only get 1

halo 3 has a way better and bigger on line community than gears

More people play Halo 3, however, if you don't already have it, try Call of Duty 4 even more people online with that.
