  1. I recommend doing your research on the different breeds of chickens first before you consider breeding different species. I doubt it could be too risky, but theres always a chance that inter-breeding differnt types of chickens could cause abnormailty's, and deformailty's in the chicks when they hatch.

    Read up at the library, or internet about the different breeds, and different species that is safe to interbreed, and how it has been documented. The last thing that you want is to end up with deformed little hatchlings.

  2. the hens should sit on the eggs until they hatch if not you can use a heat light or incubator to keep the eggs under and just candle them now and then to see if they are fertile.. You do need to keep a rooster with the hen for this to happen
