I have 637 credit score and am wondering how much it will go up after my overall debt goes from 9200 to 2200?

i understand how credit works and i know how its all calculated. so with all due respect please spare me the details. im simply just asking out of curiousity or until the next month to see what my credit report shows.

If you know how credit works and how it's calculated, then you should also know that it really depends on what kind of debt you have.

If that's all credit card debt, you'll get a big boost.  Carrying balances of mroe than 30% of you limit, hurts your score.  But if it's installment loans, mortgage, or student loans, the increase won't be very much.
