I just need to know how to connect all of it together! I have a basic idea but i need someone to just literally explain it to me step by step! My head unit powers my four door speakers, the 6x9s are powered by the amp and now have another 4000w amp along with 3000w subs that i need to connect it all up 2! But i have been told that i need to connect the two subs together so i jus need a good idea on how to do it?? Thanks

  1. ok..it depends on how you have the first amp connected to the head unit .  I use a x3  6 channel 2 front,2 rear,2 sub  kicker crossover .. to divied the signal  to my different amps .  i have the doors an front  together on the front crossover channel then my rear on the rear channel  powered by a  kx350.4   4 channel amp and then subs on the sub channel...powered by a differed kx kicker amp.

  2. you don't connect the subs "together", but if you are using one amp to power two subs they must be connected together (the wires coming from the subs AFTER the sub has been wired to give you your desired impedance-ohms) before going to the amp

this may help (look at the different examples) http://www.crutchfield.com/learn/learnin...
