Question:

I have 7 credits in school.and those together give me a 2.1 gpa((bad i know!)) i have 16 more to go.....help?

with what kinda grades in those 16 credits can give me like a 3.something? would they ALL have to be A's? help

  1. You're basically screwed.


  2. There are a total of 23 credits.  To average a 3.0, you need to earn 23*3 or 69 grade points.

    Right now, you have earned 7*2.1 or 14.7 grade points (for easier math, let's say 15).  You need to earn 69-15 or 54 more grade points in those remaining 16 credits.

    You need to average 54/16 or 3.375 for your remaining classes to wind up with a 3.0

    That's like 10 B's and 6 A's with no C's, D's, or F's. Piece of cake ;)

  3. won't be to bad, but yeah you'd probably have to get all A's the GPA is grade points earned divided by the number of credits attempted I would figure it out for you right now but I'm a little burned out and don't want to figure in how many grade points you already have

  4. yeah... and if you can get some AP classes with 5.0 potential but i think you screwed yourself over. all you can do now is show improvement and motivation and hope that's good enough for whatever you're going for.
