I took the motor for service and they said it started right up. I replaced the gas in my tank and replaced the fuel line. Still I can't get it to fire. Any suggestions?

  1. bring it back to them and tell them to start it

  2. been like this since you got it, or has it ever been good?

most common cause of hard cold start:  operator error.

make sure the choke plate is closing off completely, the fuel tank is vented, the line pressurized, and plenty of cranking RPM (it takes about 250 to generate spark).

    electric or pull start?

all else fails, take it back & ask 'em to show you how they started it.  whaddya got to lose?
