I have 80 GB Zune Box. I have lots of Songs & Videos on my Lap Top Hard Drive. How do I transfer them to Zune?

You can't just connect with a USB cable and send files.

1. You won't see it on My Computer while browsing unless you hack your registry.

2. Make sure you have the Zune program installed. The Zune program usually monitors My Videos and My Music for those file types unless you change the monitored folders. To do that open the Zune program and click on settings>collection. You can add folders for Zune to monitor there.

3. Make sure they are in the correct format and DRM free. For videos you will have the least trouble with wmv with a resolution no larger than 320x240. While the Zune program can play other file types, the Zune website will tell you that those will be converted at time of syncing.

4. Once they are in the correct format save the files in the monitored folders and the Zune program will find them. Then sync your Zune.
