I have 9 child. I just took over custody of nephew. Came with some serious issues need help!any advisehelp?

the mother is a drug addict i have no kids but have been trying to get him and his sis for years. my nephew is not only physical but verbal w/ us. I want to help but do not know what to do. Do not get me wrong I love everything that I have I just want more for this child some advice would help. thank you

Right now, his biggest problem is probably trust. He probably trusts no one and thinks no one really cares due to his mother's background. Just keep being supportive and hopefully overtime he will come out of the stage. If not, seek help like a child therapist,etc.

Once an error is clearly and fully understood, it need not be repeated. Addiction is to the false Self. Drugs and Alcohol are just self-medication trying to alleviate the pain caused by that  addiction.

Your first statement  " I have a 9 child. "

Do you have a 9 year old child or 9 children  ?

You later say " I have no kids "

Which one is it ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?

Your dealing with a child that has not been parented for nin years- his whole nine years. Just parent him, give him rules, structure, and consistancy. He is also adjusting to a new situation as well.
