when i got him/her about two years ago i started with a 10 gallon tank. but it grew really fast and i had to buy a 30 gallon tank. now my baby is almost 9 1/2 inches long and the tank is starting to look too small for him again. should i start thinking about a bigger tank? i also have another black moore that is about 1 year old in the same tank and he's growing really fast also.

  1. i would definetally reccomend it. black moors commonly reach up to and over 10 inches. sounds like you have a beauty there :) if i were you i would try a 55g or bigger so they have pleanty of space to swim as they grow.

    best of luck :)

  2. well I was going to say no the tank isn't to small but then you mentioned the second one so I would have to say it would be a good idea to look into a 40 or 55 gallon tank with your one fish being 9.5 inches long that would put him at about 4 to 5 inches tall and another 2 to 3 inches thick which meanes he would be ok in the 30 gallon tank by himself but with the other one the tank is going to be getting on the small side for the 2 fish

  3. 30 gallons is the minimum for 2 fancy (black moors are fancy) goldfish
