I have 95 eclipse gsx and i replace the rear differential with a 98 eagle talon tsi awd

my car is a manual.... and the differential i juss replace mite have been from an automatic transmission... and the differential was also a LSD... does it make a difference??? something was burning when i was running it... and i wasnt sure wat it was... it could have been the differetial....

Make sure that the gear ratios r the same front to rear and that u put the limited slip additive in if required.

the gear ratios will be higher with automatic differential and also your speedometer wont be correct but i dont remember a automatic awd version only the fwd non turbos came automatics

did you put gear oil in your new transmission they use 75w-90 gl4 not gl5
