well if your battery is good and the starter motor sounds like its trying to turn it over but its not then it probably is. But take a look at the oil leven because if there isnt any oil on the dipstick and you neglected getting oil changes regularly then your motor most likely did lock up, and a new motor and the labor charge isnt gonna be cheap
