I have BSNL broadband.when i connect to the net,system shuts down in 10 seconds.what to do?

connection establishes.even home page come.then it shuts down and restarts.ethernet is connected,not USB cable

  1. Chances of ur computer being infected with a virus/trojan are more wirh ur problem. Scan ur system completely.


  2. Check your computer might be infected with virus/trojan. Delete all the temporary/temp files. If it doesnot work format the system and reload the windows. It seems that it is a software problem not  hardware problem.

  3. Connect how? Do you turn on the modem & enter username password Or just turn on the modem?

    Since when has the prblem started coming???I'm sure you added a new H/W.. another USB most liely.. Webcam/printer..

    If you just turn on the modem & system shuts down, it'll point to reource conflict. I am guesung that the modem is plugged in with the USB port..

    Uninstall modem & re start syste,

    Now re-install modem..

    See if the probem occurs

    If it does, use ethernet..


  4. try connecting with ethernet cable insted of USB cble.  

  5. Simply re-load BSNL settings via setting up new internet connection.

    But prior 2 dat check ur system 4 any malicious software...
