  1. golds. try woodwinked from MAC. its amazing.

  2. Greys and silvers are pretty with burgundy and you can get different tones that will go with anyones skin.

  3. go with a copper color eyeshadow and dark brown eyeliner. mac has a great loose shadow that's called copper. it'll look great on any skin tone. just don't use a ton. then you could get tarte blush in tipsy. it works on any skin tone. use mac big baby lipglass.

    congrats on the wedding.

  4. Well, really you aren't supposed to match your eye make up to your outfits, why can't they wear their make up how they want? They should wear colors that go with their eye color and not dress color.

  5. Maybe oranges ; golds ; or browns.

Perhaps green seeing as they are opposites on the color wheel.

  6. light gold and champane or tan

  8. What goes for the bride goes for the bridesmaids.  You can pay to have the makeup applied by a professional or do it yourself.

    Getting what you want

Once you have chosen a make-up artist, Rose says it is worthwhile arranging a consultation about two months before the wedding. They will generally charge for this consultation but it is worth it.

At this consultation, it is important to communicate your needs to your make-up artist. Bring pictures and fabric swatches of your dress and your bridesmaids' dresses and explain the colour of your flowers and accessories. You should also give her as much information about your wedding as you can. For example, tell her of the style of your wedding - such as indoor or outdoor, formal or casual - and the time of day you will be getting married as make-up for an evening wedding will be different to make-up for a daytime wedding.planning_makingitup_0805

Feel free to bring pictures from bridal magazines to give her a good idea of what you like and be sure to share your concerns about your day-to-day make-up dilemmas and skin sensitivities. Most importantly, remember that you know your face better than anyone, so don’t be talked into something you don’t feel comfortable with and inform them of any current essential beauty routines you may do.

    The DIY option

Doing your own make-up is cost effective and it can be done well if you have the right products and know a bit about it. It can also be fun to get all your bridesmaids together and help each other get made up on the day. Be sure to factor in enough time because you don’t want to be rushed.

Only attempt DIY if you feel you can do your make-up justice. Get inspiration from magazines, advice from friends and remember to stick with what looks good on you. Shy away from way-out trends as these will come and go, while your photos will be around forever.

Just make sure you look natural not made up.
