First, I had a huge spike in my temperature this morning (4 dpo).....I was not drinking the night before, took temp at same time, nothing was different. Just wondering if this could mean anything and if other women had this and if they became pregnant or not.

Secondly, I am have ALOT of sticky/gummy/lotiony cm and have a wet vaginal sensation (takes a few swips with toilet paper to feel dry)....I don't recall having this in my past cycles. Any input would be great!

  1. Sometimes a spike in post ovulatory temps. indicate a triphasic stage.  In other words, you could be pregnant.  Keep an eye open and see what your temps do over the next few days.  If they remain high, you may want to celebrate.  Good luck.

  2. I'm not quite convinced you've ovulated. Usually after I ovulate my temps are at 98.2's but you started out a lot lower than I usually am too. So, if you o'd the temp spike is normal and it should continue to stay high until your next period. When I had my BFP I noticed a lot of creamy CM but not gummy as you described. Keep BDing today just in case. If you see a temp drop day 6-11 at or around your coverline that is probably implantation so that would be exciting. GL!!!

  3. Your ovulation day may have been miscalculated. Generally, the day you ovulate, your BBT will rise by 1 degree and stay that way until your expected period. I would BD as soon as you can today, just in case, although since you BD 2 days ago you should be OK. You'll find out in about 2 weeks!

    Good Luck!
