Question:

I have Callaway clubs off the shelf. Im going to get them fitted to my swing. Will it make a big difference?

Clubs are x-18's off the shelve..been playing with them for 6 months. Callaway is going to fit them for me.

  1. Here's the thing about fitting, if they don't have to change much, you might feel ripped off. But if they do, you could see a big improvement. It's worth it to find out.


  2. Yes and like the rest have said you will have to adjust from the way you use to play. Hopefully your club selection will be better so that the 7 iron you were hitting in to the green becomes your 9 iron.  You should see three or four strokes better until you get use to them, and then the rest is up to you.

  3. Im using the X20's & had them fitted & it made a big difference in my game. You just need to make some adjustments. When I first had mine adjusted my game was horrible but then improved subtstantially.

If the length of your arms is in proportion to your body and you have a good set up (hands not too low or too high) they won't have much adjusting to make.  But if there are quirks in your size, your set up and your swing tweaking the clubs may make a big difference in consitent ball striking.  Always a good idea to find out.

  5. Sure will if they weren't fitted very well to you already, but if there isn't a lot they're changing, you probably won't see extreme changes. But yeah overall you'll see some better results.
