The truck starts fine, but when I put it into to reverse or try to accelerate, it seems like it's going to stall. The reduced engine light came on, also. If I'm parked slightly downhill, I have push the gas way down for it to generate the power to reverse. I also feel this lack of power and as if it is going to stall when I'm on the freeway in traffic. After being in slow traffic, and having it pick up, I try to accelerate and it seems to want to stall again.

  1. if the check engine light is on then go to your nearest autozone or advanced auto parts and let them scan it with an OBD II Scanner.  That should give you a start in the right direction and help you diagnose what the problem is.  Do that then post your results here and someone should be able to give advice on what needs to be done...

  2. fuel filter and bottle of fuel treatment...or maybe the exhaust about plugged
