I have Direct, how the h**l do i use my DVR to record ****?

I Dont have the instructions, and i want to record a show because i wont be home when it airs tonight

If you have the RC32 remote provided with most of DirecTV's DVRs, simply go to the guide, and select the R button, it is set in an orange/red color.  If you want to record the series, hit the R button twice.  

That should do it.  

If you have an older TiVo unit, which I don't think you do, just highlight the show and hit the record button.

All the manual are in Directv.com, go to customer service  and then system manual select receivers and model of dvr you have all info there.... cause there're 2 differents ways scheduling and record at once... from you can select
