  1. If they are volunteers from something you planted last year, they should be just fine.  


  2. They have probably cross-polinated with zucchini squash. That's where they get the green color.

    And, yes, you can safely eat them.

    They should be delicious!

  3. If you planted them last year then they should be fine...however, were the crooknecks you planted last year green? I see that you emphised on the word green. If thats what you planted last year then yes. However, if you platned yellows last year and have greens this year they should still be safe but may taste a little different. Who knows you may have a hybridized something and have a crookneck pepper.lol
