  1. The typical side effects of " Prevpac " are usually Diarrhea, headache and taste disturbances. However, the reaction of combining " Prevpac " with other medications such as cisapride, pimozide, astemizole ( a discontinued drug in USA market ), and terfenadine ( another discontinued drug in the USA market ) could cause serious heart irregularities.

You also cannot use Prevpac if you've ever had an allergic reaction to antibiotics such as amoxicillin, clarithromycin, erythromycin, penicillin, or Biaxin. Also avoid Prevpac if you've had a reaction to a cephalosporin-type antibiotic such as Ceclor, Duricef, and Keflex.

You have mentioned that you suffer from panic attack disorder. If You may please provide information in regards to what exact medications You are currently taking for your disorder, I did be more able to suggest something to You. Right now, I can only speculate that you must be on some sort of other medication ( very much likely ) that is reacting with Prevpac. And You should discuss this with your specialists as soon as possible.

    Wishing You Good Health !
