I have Limewire for over a year and its been good for me! Anyone else have it and like it as i do?

well i really want to try it because there are a lot of songs that i want that i can't find on the internet and i dont really buy music, but ive been afraid to because i know people who got viruses from it. however, i am thinking about trying it anyway

Yes, i love it, had it a long time and have had no problems with it at all so far, if any arise my virus protection catches it and i just block the IP address of the user.

I actually never tried it but i heard from a friend it is the best place for free things.

Not really i find that it is riddled with viruses , fake downloads etc. etc.

It's not really a safe option to be downloading anything , i prefer using either Torrents or i have purchased a rapidshare account which uses the FTP protocol to share files rather then P2P like Torrents or Limewire , so its alot faster and theres alot more stuff to find too :D

Limewire it self is actually illegal , the content on which is mostly shared is , the problem with P2P is that software developers who create applications to utilise the P2P protocol can't actually control the content and moderating what comes in and out would be a superhuman job it's just not possible , so really to stay legal just don't use it for ilegal activities

Yes, I love limewire. The only thing I don't like about it is when I try to download like 20-30 songs at a time, and some of them have to wait on busy hosts; but besides that yea.

I love limewire but you really should use it because the police are on to it and if you are found using it they will cut off your internet for several months and fine you

so i dont think you should use it anymore

I also love it. my ipod would definitely sound bleak without it.

but the only complaint i have is the virus/dangers such as hacking everytime i use it. i guess every p2p software has its threats but limeware has been more notorious than any other programs out there. so far i've been lucky with what i download, but my friends weren't.

i'm not telling everyone to quit using it. i would be lost without limewire. just giving some precaution.
