  1. bare minerals will cover anything.  it won't irritate your skin and it stays on really well too.  good luck and I hope that your lupus brings you many more good days than bad.

  2. Boots Rosy Tone Colour Control.  It's hypo-Allegenic and Fragrance Free and the bonus is, it isn't expensive.

  3. and good foundation should work. or a tinted moisturizer would be good!

  4. Hi! I am a professional makeup artist and I have used many brands and mediums of makeup. I DO NOT RECOMMEND BARE ESCENTUALS as they have a very irritating ingredient in their makeup called BISMUTH OXYCHLORIDE, they say they are pure mineral makeup (bismuth is not a mineral at all but a metal, used in cosmetics it can cause itching, dryness, irritation, rash and cystic acne. Not what you are looking for.) However, I do Highly recommend mineral makeup as it has high levels of zinc oxide (which is anti-inflammatory and amazing on redness) Of all the brands I highly recommend FAERIE ORGANIC MINERALS as they are the most natural and free of harmful irritating ingredients and fillers and they are BISMUTH FREE. They cover redness amazing! Check out the girl on the front page of their site (she is really red). They have FREE SAMPLES anywhere worldwide( I found the currency converts at checkout) You really need to try it, I know you'll love it and your face will too! http://www.faerieorganic.com

  5. I have fairly bad skin (although it's getting better, yay!) and I have an anti redness thing by Rimmel. It's pretty expensive and a little does not go a long way, but it works reasonably well.

If not, I would try a foundation for fair skin. I have paper white skin, and the lightest I've found is by Barbara Daly for Tesco. It works excellently and goes very, very far. It's also light (cover, not colour) so you can put concealer over it, again, I would go for a pale one (I'd recommend Rimmel hide the blemish), and finish off with a little powder (I like Rimmel loose powder). Don't forget to leave a little colour, or use some face pearls or blush, as it could leave you looking like a ghost, like me, or ill as my Nan says (she also has Lupus, but is now to wisened to bother with make-up).

    Hope it helps!

  6. Mamamed, first and foremost, I suggest taking a good/vitamin mineral supplement (one from a real health food store) and any other supplements they may have for people w/your condition; eat a good diet that includes lots of fruits and veggies and drink more water.  Now, having said that, check out the line I use - it's aularale.com/7002 for people w/sensitive skin.  You might try using the cover stick over the red areas of your skin first (pat in place) then use the next foundation shade up from your shade to further cover the redness (also pat over the area).  After that, go over your entire face w/your foundation shade and powder w/loose translucent powder to set and touch up during the day.

  7. I have a friend with rosacea who swears by bare minerals.

Take a look at this article.  You should find a medium- to full-coverage foundation listed that works for your skin type.  http://www.associatedcontent.com/article...

    Best of luck!

  8. Yeah, forget weird coloured concealers... waste o' cash.

Don't use MAC, it's designed for photo shoots, not every day use, and completely trashes your skin.

Try Bare Minerals, or a mineral makeup.

I also recommend liquid foundatio by Marcelle (they have so many shades and formulas!) or TruBlend by Covergirl. And they sell both in practically any drugstore.

    Good Luck! :)

PS>> make sure you are wearing sunscreen underneath it.

  9. Foundation.

  10. MAC full coverage foundation, or Dermablend makeup.
