I have Macromedia Flash MX Professional 2004. How do I start a new project? I dont know how to draw.

I see lots of boxes with different names for them such as Properties, Project, Color Mixer, Components, Component Inspector, Behaviors, etc. How do I get all this out the way and start to draw? A big portion of what I see shows different options for me to choose, such as Open a Recent Item, Create New, and Create from Template. Someone please tell me how I can just start drawing already!

What you need is a new blank project, so select something along the lines of "Create New".  Then use the pencil tool (should be on the left) to start drawing.
