I have NTSC recording type High Definition camcorder but my TV is PAL type. How can I view videos on my TV ?

  1. Most modern PAL TVs are dual format, and I'd be surprised if you've got a high def TV that can't handle NTSC.  Check the setup menus - there's usually an option to autodetect PAL / NTSC.


  2. If you have an old VHS player they can sometimes red NTSC formats so you could go through that , other wise I do not think you can, you could check the setting on your TV it may be able to swap formats.

  3. You need to convert the NTSC recording to PAL if you want to view it on your TV. If you have Nero it can do that for you. If not depending on where you live see if there is a video production facility that can do it for you for a modest fee.
