I have PAN number. However, I lost my PAN card, and have applied for a replacement. Can I still open a bank account - savings or FD or PPF accounts?

It depends upon the bank. If you can supply copy of your old PAN card, they may allow.

ya..you can open a bank a/c or made a FD.you may submit your IT return ack.copy for the PAN proof.
