I was diagnosed with Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrom about eight years ago. I found out when my husband and I were trying to have a child. I'm thirty-four now -no chance of haveing a child however, I still really need to lose weight. PCOS makes it extra hard to lose the weight-If any one has this please wright me. Anything would help Thanks! deedeesladybug@sbcglobal.net=I've ordered a PCOS book on pregnancy and wieght-very hard to understand =Kinda like reading chinese.

  1. stay postive... good luck to oyu

  2. The book  "The Insulin Resistence Diet" helped me get my PCOS under control, lose weight and conceive my first child.  I also used the fertility drug Metformin and I conceived a month after starting that drug!  Good luck.  Please check out that book - it can work miracles for you as it did for me.  (Of course, speak with your endocrinologist before changing your diet.)

  3. Try maya abdominal massage(MAM). It can help to balance your hormones and blood sugar in order to achieve pregnancy. Balancing your blood sugar wil help to control your weight and control the PCOS in order to become pregnany. MAM practitioners help with this kind of stuff all the time. I just helped a woman with severe PCOS to get pregnant within 2 cycles using MAM!! Anything is possible! Please try it. If more women would find out about MAM there would be less need for fertility treatments.
